Uncharted Te Mau Motu: Exploring French Polynesian Atolls & Their Ecosystem Services
Lindblad & National Geographic Society-funded project in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and French Polynesia partners
In this expedition, we will conduct scientific work (drone-based, mapping and aerial photogrammetry) on vulnerable atolls to map and evaluate their ecosystem services. Alongside this, we will run a science communication campaign, including interviews with local islanders and Tuamotu’s exceptional beauty.

Exploring the “near-shallow” refuges for endangered coral species in Indo-Pacific reefs
National Geographic Society-funded project in collaboration with the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), the University of the Ryukyus, & the National University of Singapore (NAS).
In this expedition, we conducted scientific work (diving, ecological surveys, and underwater photogrammetry) on local coral reefs to understand their functioning and resilience. Alongside, we carried out the documentary filming and science communication campaign that included interviews with local and international experts and Okinawa marvels. The final post-production documentary is currently in process.

Organized by Jackson Wild with Support from San Diego Wildlife Alliance, RED, ARRI, Canon, OConnor, Lensrentals, Lowepro, Manfrotto, and Sachtler.
This film lab was tailored for mid-career Latinx filmmakers, emphasizing storytelling in nature and science from innovative angles. Participants delved into the evolution of storytelling in conservation and science, discussing the imperative to shift the storyteller approach towards inclusive perspectives, embracing alternative viewpoints from non-Western cultures.

Environmental visual project in French Polynesia in support of Te Tai Nui a Hau, 'The Great Ocean of Peace', a large-scale marine protected are project in the Marquesas Islands promoted by the regional authorities and supported by the North-American NGO The Pew Charitable Trusts.
